What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for various vehicle systems and components.
• Physically instrument vehicles and ensure the accuracy and quality of recorded data.
• Conduct field testing on test tracks, public roads, and in controlled environments.
• Analyze test data to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot performance issues and defects.
• Document test results in Jira and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, development, and manufacturing teams to refine product performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Vehicle Test Engineer or in a closely related role.
• Strong understanding of powertrain, chassis, and electrical/electronics vehicle systems.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Garden Grove, CA.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automotive testing standards such as ISO and SAE.
• Experience with NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) testing.
• Experience with durability or reliability testing methodologies.
