Salary: $189,000 - $274,000 per year

What you will do
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for autonomous hardware and vehicle platforms, including design and environmental verification.
- Act as the technical SME for vehicle-level V&V, coordinating sub-systems such as thermal management, drive-by-wire, and power subsystems.
- Lead critical root-cause analysis for complex system failures to ensure robust corrective actions with cross-functional buy-in.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, software, and safety teams to align on requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
- Standardize data collection and technical reporting for senior leadership.
- Drive the improvement of internal software test tools for case execution and data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in hardware testing/V&V, with 2+ years in a technical lead role within the automotive or aerospace industry.
- Deep expertise in V&V processes, statistical analysis, fault injection, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL).
- Experience with sensing and data collection equipment such as accelerometers, strain gauges, and force transducers.
- Working knowledge of systems engineering practices and automotive communication protocols.
- Proficiency with requirement management and tracking tools like JAMA and JIRA.
Nice to have
- Experience in the autonomous vehicle space.
- Expertise in vehicle durability testing, hardware module testing, or hardware reliability.
- Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation.
