What you will do

• Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for autonomous hardware and vehicle platforms, including design and environmental verification.
• Act as the technical SME for vehicle-level V&V, coordinating sub-systems such as thermal management, drive-by-wire, and power subsystems.
• Lead critical root-cause analysis for complex system failures to ensure robust corrective actions with cross-functional buy-in.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, software, and safety teams to align on requirements, schedules, and deliverables.
• Standardize data collection and technical reporting for senior leadership.
• Drive the improvement of internal software test tools for case execution and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in hardware testing/V&V, with 2+ years in a technical lead role within the automotive or aerospace industry.
• Deep expertise in V&V processes, statistical analysis, fault injection, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL).
• Experience with sensing and data collection equipment such as accelerometers, strain gauges, and force transducers.
• Working knowledge of systems engineering practices and automotive communication protocols.
• Proficiency with requirement management and tracking tools like JAMA and JIRA.

Nice to have

• Experience in the autonomous vehicle space.
• Expertise in vehicle durability testing, hardware module testing, or hardware reliability.
• Proficiency in Python or C++ for test automation.
