Manager, Logistics (Starlink)

Location: Onsite in Bastrop, Texas, United States. Extended hours and weekends may be required, with travel of up to 40% to other SpaceX or customer sites and meetings. ITAR eligibility is required: U.S. citizenship or nationality, lawful permanent residence, refugee or asylee status, or eligibility to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations.

What you will do

• Develop and execute logistics strategies for inbound logistics, fulfillment, and end-to-end transportation operations.
• Build carrier performance frameworks, KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards using data analytics.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, RFPs, contract negotiations, rate optimization, and carrier partnerships.
• Expand and redesign global logistics networks, transportation modes, distribution methods, and service-provider coverage.
• Drive cost reduction, packaging, routing, mode-selection, and process-optimization initiatives.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Compliance, Customs, Tax, Finance, and Operations teams while managing escalations, budgets, and corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience developing KPI frameworks and carrier performance management programs.
• At least 5 years of experience leading sourcing strategy, carrier negotiations, and partnership management.
• At least 5 years of people management experience leading and developing logistics teams.
• Experience with international and domestic logistics networks, 3PL/4PL providers, freight forwarding, compliance, budgets, and cost reduction.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements and work onsite in the United States.

Nice to have

• 7+ years managing complex global transportation, fulfillment, or logistics networks.
• Experience scaling logistics capacity by 10x or more and supporting high-growth manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of ITAR, C-TPAT, HTS/Schedule B, Incoterms, MRP/ERP systems, and logistics platforms.
• Experience supporting freight, warehousing, e-commerce, and special project services.
