Manufacturing Planner III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Evaluate manufacturing schedules and coordinate the controlled flow of materials and services to meet customer requirements.
• Perform shop order release and closure within the MRP system and reconcile parts.
• Provide detailed status of work in progress (WIP) and communicate constraints to the schedule.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inspection, quality, procurement, and engineering teams to expedite material shortages.
• Implement and maintain material stocking strategies on production lines to ensure proper floor stock.
• Monitor the flow and velocity of jobs through the production line and manage the disposition of Nonconformances.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or demand planning.
• Proven experience with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• U.S. Person status (Citizen, National, Green Card holder, Refugee, or Asylee) is required due to export control regulations.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• Understanding of LEAN, Six Sigma, Value Stream, and Kaizen principles.
• Familiarity with Coupa or Costpoint provisioning systems.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
