Manager, Corporate Development - The Orchard

Location: New York; office-first role with in-office attendance 4 days per week

Salary: $110,000–$120,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Lead M&A transactions, strategic investments, and partnerships from preliminary evaluation through closing.
• Structure deals, coordinate due diligence, perform valuations, and manage cross-functional execution.
• Build financial models and conduct strategic and macro-level analyses to support transaction decisions.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners, investors, industry experts, and founders.
• Prepare clear investment recommendations, presentations, and memos for senior executive leadership.
• Monitor regional markets, industry trends, competitive landscapes, and product development opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, or management consulting focused on media and entertainment.
• Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and Excel skills.
• Experience analyzing large, complex data sets and developing actionable conclusions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder influence and executive communication.
• Strong project management skills and a deep understanding of the music, digital media, and technology landscape.
