M&A / Corporate Development (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Foster City, California, United States

Salary: $210K–$270K annually

What you will do

• Build and own Replit’s M&A and corporate development function.
• Define acquisition strategy and translate company priorities into target areas across AI, developer tools, and software infrastructure.
• Source acqui-hire, tuck-in, and large-scale acquisition opportunities through ecosystem research and relationship development.
• Evaluate product alignment, market position, technical differentiation, financial profile, and build-versus-buy alternatives.
• Lead transactions from initial evaluation through signing and closing, including valuation, modeling, structuring, due diligence, negotiations, and decision materials.
• Coordinate integration planning with Product, AI, Engineering, People, Legal, and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, investment banking, or a related strategic role.
• Experience leading technology transactions through signing and closing.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical, product, and technology skills.
• Experience with market research, company identification, opportunity pipelines, due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiation.
• Ability to synthesize complex product, technical, market, and financial information into clear recommendations.
• Ability to own complex workstreams, manage deadlines, and resolve issues across cross-functional and external advisory teams.
