What you will do

• Lead commissioning for multiple projects simultaneously, managing plans, schedules, and issue logs.
• Review Owner's Project Requirements (OPR) and Basis of Design (BOD) to ensure specifications are met.
• Conduct design and submittal reviews to identify potential performance issues early in the project lifecycle.
• Execute functional performance testing for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BAS, and renewable energy systems.
• Prepare comprehensive field observation reports and final project closeout documentation.
• Support owner turnover and provide facility staff training for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning or MEP engineering.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, BAS/controls, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and sequence of operations.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Industry certifications such as CxA, CBCP, or CCP are preferred.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• LEED AP certification.
• Experience with Title 24 regulations.
• Knowledge of commissioning for data centers, healthcare, or laboratory facilities.
