Commissioning Manager (Data Center)

Salary: $170,000 - $220,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and mentor commissioning agents and engineers to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
• Oversee commissioning processes for mechanical (HVAC, chillers) and electrical (UPS, generators, switchgear) systems.
• Develop and approve commissioning plans, procedures, and protocols aligned with industry best practices.
• Direct functional, load, and integrated systems testing (L0 to L5) to validate reliability.
• Resolve complex technical issues by collaborating with design, construction, and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, NFPA, and other relevant safety and energy codes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering (or 4 additional years of experience).
• Minimum 10 years of experience commissioning MEP systems for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in complex infrastructure projects and MEP team management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing and mentoring commissioning professionals.
• Must be based in or able to work in Sandersville, GA.

Nice to have

• Advanced certifications such as CEM, CPMP, or PMP.
• Experience with hyperscale or colocation data centers.
• Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and SCADA monitoring systems.
