Senior SQL Server Consultant (SQL Server)

Location: Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available). Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

What you will do

• Assess technical and business objectives to architect and implement SQL Server solutions.
• Perform deep performance tuning, troubleshooting, and comprehensive system reviews.
• Design and manage high availability and disaster recovery strategies, including Always On AGs and clustering.
• Execute installations, upgrades, and migrations across on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Provide high-level documentation, reporting, and project-based advisory services.
• Support pre-sales technical efforts and conduct health checks for managed services customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SQL Server in production environments (2016 through the latest releases).
• Expertise in T-SQL development and Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking, virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), and storage architecture.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. — no sponsorship available.
• Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule.
• Proven consulting skills with the ability to lead customer conversations and present technical findings.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Relevant SQL Server or cloud certifications.
