What you will do

• Serve as an escalation point for the Network Operations Center and support engineers, resolving complex infrastructure issues.
• Operate and maintain Windows Server environments across VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Build and support Azure and AWS infrastructure, networking, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot alerts, resource utilization, operating system events, certificates, and hardware issues to identify root causes.
• Implement infrastructure upgrades, new technology deployments, high-availability solutions, and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Participate in on-call rotations and perform planned off-hours changes when required.

Requirements

• 7+ years of similar experience in a client-facing infrastructure or systems engineering role.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting experience and proficiency with cloud infrastructure, networking, and system integrations.
• Strong administration experience with Windows Server, including Active Directory/Entra, DNS, DHCP, file services, failover clustering, patching, backups, permissions, and event logs.
• VMware experience covering vSphere, vCenter, hosts, datastores, virtual switching, snapshots, VMware Tools, maintenance mode, and host patching.
• Hyper-V experience, including virtual machines, hosts, networks, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• VMware VCP or VCAP certification, strong client communication, organizational skills, and willingness to provide on-call and off-hours support.

Nice to have

• Microsoft MCP or MCSA certification.
• Linux experience.
