Employee Relations Partner (HRTech)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid. Must be based in Denver, San Francisco, New York, or Scottsdale (expected in office 2-3 days per week).

Salary: $88,000 – $118,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage employee concerns and workplace conflict resolution through investigations and mediation.
• Coach and support managers in setting performance expectations and implementing performance management plans.
• Ensure managers' adherence to internal policies and HR legal requirements.
• Partner with Legal and People Partners to assess organizational risk and determine courses of action for escalated cases.
• Maintain thorough, legally defensible documentation for all employee relations cases.
• Analyze ER metrics to identify systemic risks and surface them to leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years in an HR Generalist role or 2 years in an Employee Relations/HRBP role.
• Experience handling complex, sensitive employee relations matters with discretion and composure.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration with Legal teams.
• Exceptional knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be based in one of the company's office locations to support the hybrid work model.

Nice to have

• Training in mediation, non-violent communication, counseling, or coaching.
• Experience working in a globally distributed company.
