Junior Software Engineer (Embedded Systems)

Salary: $83,500–$180,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop software drivers, desktop applications, and client/server applications for Windows and Unix platforms.
• Design and implement low-level embedded software using C, C++, and Python.
• Analyze operating systems, computer hardware architectures, and interfaces for signal processing and system evaluation.
• Build and deploy infrastructure technologies in support of DevOps processes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, software integration, and continuous deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• 0–4 years of experience developing applications for Windows and Unix-based systems.
• Proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Familiarity with Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware architecture and low-level software interaction.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. person status are required; U.S. citizenship is required for some contract-specific positions.

Nice to have

• Experience with C# or Java.
