What you will do

• Design and develop features across the AWS Networking software stack on Nitro Cards.
• Optimize packet delivery, reduce tail latency, and improve bandwidth utilization using SRD protocol and L3/L4 networking.
• Collaborate with hardware and firmware partners to define software/hardware interfaces.
• Integrate ENA Express features into the broader AWS networking ecosystem.
• Drive operational excellence by building observability tools and leading incident response.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Strong background in systems programming (C / C++) in performance-critical environments
• Experience with Linux and networking protocols
• Ability to work onsite in Cupertino, CA

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hypervisors, VMware, or Xen
• Strong analytical skills and experience in network troubleshooting
• Experience defining HW/SW interfaces including control/status registers
