Manufacturing Planner III (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials (BOM), and detailed work instructions.
• Integrate suppliers, processes, materials, and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements at the cell level.
• Develop tooling requirements, initiate tooling orders, and lead tooling dispositions.
• Investigate and resolve broad-scope manufacturing issues and participate in producibility assessments for part or product designs.
• Maintain and communicate manufacturing engineering metrics and schedules using P6 or other GANTT-style tools.
• Provide shipside support and mentor junior teammates.

Requirements

• 7+ years of manufacturing planning or production experience, or a combination of education (Associate Degree/trade school) and experience.
• Strong understanding of Project Management and Lean Six Sigma or lean methods.
• Intermediate experience with P6 or other GANTT-style project management tools.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Nice to have

• Expert understanding of GD&T.
• Expertise with Manufacturing and CAD software such as CATIA, CREO, Enovia, Delmia, or CMES.
• Ability to lead independent contributors and cross-functional teams.
