Salary: $162,400 - $270,000 USD

What you will do

• Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of 6-8 engineers working on Generative AI projects.
• Design and implement scalable backend systems and distributed platforms for Federal customers.
• Collaborate with product, security, and customer-facing teams to execute the strategic roadmap.
• Navigate complex public sector compliance requirements and security frameworks to deliver outcomes.
• Participate in customer engagements to translate requirements into innovative AI solutions.
• Contribute to the platform roadmap and product strategy for the Federal business.

Requirements

• Must have or be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• 5+ years of full-time engineering experience post-graduation.
• 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong track record as an individual contributor and in mentoring successful projects.
• Experience scaling products within hyper-growth startup environments.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Existing TS/SCI Clearance.
• Experience with generative models, LLMs, and AI platforms.
• Previous experience in government or government-facing technology roles.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies, full stack development, and MLOps infrastructure.
