Salary: $173,100 – $276,800 USD per year

What you will do

• Set technical vision and drive architectural excellence for the Acceptance Solutions transaction processing platform.
• Design and develop mission-critical software for high-volume payment flows and real-time data movement.
• Collaborate with product and security teams to deliver scalable, cloud-native distributed systems.
• Pioneer the organizational adoption of Generative AI and agentic AI in engineering practices.
• Mentor senior engineers and promote a culture of engineering excellence and continuous learning.
• Implement automation across development, testing, deployment, and operational workflows.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent advanced degree).
• Deep expertise in designing and scaling mission-critical distributed systems.
• Mastery of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and high-throughput data processing.
• Proficiency in security architecture including OAuth 2.0, JWT, and mTLS.
• Must be a U.S. applicant and based in or able to work from Bellevue, WA.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCI-DSS, SOX, and financial services regulatory compliance.
• Proven track record with AI/ML production deployment at scale.
• Knowledge of payment network protocols (hirify.global, Mastercard, Amex).
• Recognized expertise through publications, patents, or speaking engagements.
