Sr. Director, Product (Fintech)

TL;DR

Sr. Director, Product (Fintech/SaaS): Leading the strategy, roadmap, and execution of next-generation screening and decisioning services for merchant and partner onboarding with an accent on risk management and scalable decisioning engines. Focus on transforming internal capabilities into a standalone SaaS offering and managing long-term P&L performance.

Location: Hybrid (Bellevue, WA). Must be based in the US and work from the office three days a week (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).

Salary: $206,100 – $360,800 per year

What you will do

• Lead the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for Screening & Decisioning Services.
• Build and scale a unified solution for merchant onboarding, underwriting, and ongoing monitoring.
• Manage a team of high-performing Product Managers throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, Risk, and Compliance to define core capabilities like AI/ML decisioning and workflow management.
• Develop and execute a commercialization strategy to transition internal services into a standalone SaaS offering.
• Establish KPIs to track approval rates, risk outcomes, and commercial impact.

Requirements

• 12+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent advanced degree experience).
• 8+ years of Product Management experience leading large-scale platform, SaaS, or services initiatives.
• 5+ years of people management experience leading other Product Managers.
• Deep expertise in payments, merchant acquiring, risk management, and fraud screening.
• Must be based in the US for this hybrid role in Bellevue, WA.
• Proven track record of commercialization responsibility or P&L ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI/ML-powered decisioning or automation products.
• Experience in lending, BNPL, or identity verification domains.
• Experience launching SaaS products serving enterprise customers through APIs.
