Senior Manager, Sales Engineering (Fraud Prevention)

Location: San Jose, Costa Rica; at least 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Act as the technical expert throughout the pre-sales lifecycle for Risk and Identity solutions, including Featurespace, hirify.global Protect, and third-party fraud platforms.
• Explain the value of ARIC Risk Hub, hirify.global Protect, hirify.global Advanced Authorization, Risk Manager, and hirify.global Secure for fraud challenges across the payment lifecycle.
• Advise clients on combining Featurespace machine learning models with hirify.global network intelligence and decisioning to improve fraud detection and reduce false positives.
• Support sales activities by responding to RFPs, preparing technical documentation, answering client questions, and delivering tailored product demonstrations.
• Translate client requirements into actionable technical solutions and collaborate during implementation through successful go-live.
• Monitor fraud vectors, regulatory frameworks such as PSD2, EMV3DS, and AML, and trends affecting digital payments and financial crime.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or applicable experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, fraud strategy, or technical consulting within fraud prevention, payments, or financial services.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
• Direct experience with hirify.global Protect solutions, such as hirify.global Risk Manager, hirify.global Advanced Authorization, Decision Manager, or hirify.global Secure.
• Hands-on experience with Featurespace ARIC Risk Hub or similar machine learning-based fraud platforms.
• Deep knowledge of adaptive behavioral analytics, ML models, transaction monitoring, payment fraud detection, decision orchestration, APIs, data mapping, and solution architecture.

Nice to have

• Exposure to real-time payment schemes and cross-border fraud challenges.
• Experience delivering solutions for global banks, fintech companies, processors, or PSPs using hirify.global and third-party fraud platforms.
• Knowledge of SCA, tokenization, and payment security standards.
