What you will do

• Implement incoming, in-process, and final material inspections and monitor quality control procedures.
• Set up SPC charts, conduct root-cause analyses, and report process performance, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Lead continuous improvement projects across battery assembly and testing processes using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methods.
• Scope, plan, and integrate new equipment and processes while improving output, performance, yield, safety, and capacity.
• Collaborate with technicians, scientists, and engineers to produce high-quality battery materials and cells.
• Mentor, train, and support technicians while maintaining detailed manufacturing documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on industrial laboratory or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with battery production and testing processes is highly desired.
• Proficiency in data collection and analysis, with the ability to improve unfamiliar systems.
• Ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative, self-motivated manner.
• Understanding of materials and willingness to perform hands-on laboratory work up to 75% of the time.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear respiratory protection and required PPE daily.
