What you will do

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and end-to-end stewardship of major manufacturing quality event investigations.
• Serve as the core Quality partner for R&D and NPI teams to transition new products and processes into stable, high-yield manufacturing.
• Oversee Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Statistical Quality Control (SQC) frameworks to optimize manufacturing yield.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to lead Material Review Board (MRB) dispositions.
• Execute the internal audit program and lead readiness for external quality certification and surveillance audits.
• Track and report key quality performance metrics while driving QMS awareness training for manufacturing teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of quality engineering experience within a regulated QMS environment (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or GMP).
• Deep background in material or chemical manufacturing operations.
• Advanced proficiency in data-driven RCA tools (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC) to drive effective CAPA.
• Demonstrated expertise in auditing and ISO 9001/IATF 16949 standards.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional change and mediate conflicts among diverse functional groups.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Alameda, CA.
