What you will do

• Manage the transition of processes, tooling, and workflows from Engineering to Production, qualifying handoffs against defined acceptance criteria.
• Lead, schedule, and develop a team of engineering technicians, managing qualification and cross-training matrices.
• Own yield and scrap reporting, tracking defects by tool, lot, and shift to drive corrective actions.
• Maintain SOPs, work instructions, and travelers in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focusing on cycle time reduction, scrap reduction, and Lean/5S practices.
• Conduct safety reviews for new processes to ensure EHS requirements are enforced.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Materials) with 3+ years of experience, or 6+ years of equivalent technical experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams or technicians.
• Proficiency in yield analysis, SPC, and root cause methodologies (5-Why, fishbone, 8D).
• Experience authoring and maintaining SOPs and controlled documentation under ISO 9001.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (advanced Sheets) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Fremont, CA, Monday through Friday.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor, advanced materials, cleanroom, vacuum, or high-temperature processes.
