Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Own and execute incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes and maintain quality records.
• Lead root cause investigations using 5-Why, Fishbone, and 8D methodologies to document and verify CAPAs.
• Manage document control for quality-affecting documents and drive Kaizen initiatives to reduce rework hours and costs.
• Track supplier defects and collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to drive supplier development and PPAP.
• Participate in NPI builds, conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) and developing inspection plans.
• Maintain calibration tracking systems and ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering.
• 3–5 years of quality experience in manufacturing or electro-mechanical assembly.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ability to read mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Location: Must be based in Carrollton, TX and able to work on the manufacturing floor.

Nice to have

• ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, Green Belt, etc.).
• Experience with SPC, MSA, control plans, and PFMEA.
• Background in capital equipment manufacturing or data center/thermal systems.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and document control workflows.
