What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of quality engineers and inspectors, overseeing people development and performance.
• Drive the execution of the quality roadmap and translate the Q&E strategy into annual operational plans.
• Define and analyze department Quality KPIs to mitigate risks and suggest systemic improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to resolve intricate quality-related issues.
• Facilitate Quality Review Boards and deploy Quality Programs across the sector.
• Ensure adherence to established quality protocols and participate in audits to address customer concerns.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Diego, CA, US and be able to work 100% onsite in a cleanroom environment.
• Master’s degree in electrical, manufacturing, industrial, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering (or a Bachelor's with extensive experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality engineering or related technical domains.
• Proven track record of leading direct or indirect reports and facilitating cross-functional meetings.
• Expertise in Supplier/Manufacturing Quality, Lean, Six Sigma Problem Solving, ISO Auditing, or SPC.
• Legal authorization to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations is required.
