Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Providing financial analysis and business partnership to the Commercial Water Solutions segment with an accent on manufacturing finance, cost-benefit analysis, and operational reporting. Focus on supporting site leadership with forecasting, expense variance analysis, and capital project management.

Location: Must be based in Hanover Park, Illinois, United States

Compensation: $61,200–$113,600 per year

What you will do

• Partner with the manufacturing team to improve reporting processes and operational productivity.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial and operational reports.
• Support month-end activities and provide analysis on expense and absorption variances.
• Collaborate with site and finance leadership to prepare weekly outlooks, rolling forecasts, and annual plans.
• Monitor capital project spending, track progress against budgets, and coordinate project closures.
• Engage with leadership across the global organization to drive performance and accountability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of finance experience, preferably in a global manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, general accounting, budgeting, and cost accounting.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with BI, reporting, and ERP systems such as Power BI, Denodo, OneStream, QAD, SAP, or JDE.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
