Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Supporting corporate financial operations through budget formulation, financial tracking, and payroll support with an accent on cost analysis and reporting. Focus on utilizing Costpoint and Excel to provide actionable financial insights for operational management and external stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid schedule: 2 days per week in office).

Salary: $61,476–$79,999 per year.

What you will do

• Perform budget and financial analysis using Costpoint and Microsoft tools.
• Assist in the preparation of corporate and operational budgets.
• Create and distribute dashboard reports to key stakeholders.
• Provide executive management with timely ad-hoc reporting on indirect rates.
• Prepare financial reports for operational management and external inquiries.
• Support multi-level organizational financial needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional work experience.
• 2–4 years of experience with accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• BA/BS in Accounting or a related field.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Government Contracts Accounting and FAR regulations.
• Experience with DCAA contracting requirements.
• Experience with IBM Cognos or Deltek Costpoint.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.
