TL;DR

Lead ServiceNow Developer (ServiceNow/ITSM): Building and enhancing custom ServiceNow applications for federal enterprise clients with an accent on platform architecture, high-code development, and system integration. Focus on designing scalable solutions across multiple instances and domains, solving performance issues, and maintaining secure development standards for mission-critical environments.

Location: Fully remote within the United States, working EST hours. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret-level security clearance are required.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually, based on experience.

What you will do

• Design, configure, develop, and implement baseline and custom ServiceNow applications and enhancements.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, ACLs, Workflow Activities, and other platform components.
• Provide architectural guidance and advise functional and administration teams on ServiceNow best practices.
• Collaborate with business, systems, and technology partners to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support Agile/Scrum development across multiple instances and domains for internal and external customers.
• Analyze platform performance and implement improvements that maintain system stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow Suite, including Service Catalog, Service Portal, Reports, Incident, and Knowledge Base.
• Experience with IT Service Management, Asset and Configuration Management, ITIL/ITSM, and PMP or PRINCE2 practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, software engineering lifecycles, requirements analysis, application implementation, support, and enterprise monitoring.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, including experience with large data sets and data analysis/modeling.
• U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret-level security clearance.
