ServiceNow Developer

Location: Work within Ontario

Total compensation: $85,000–$105,000 CAD annually for candidates hired to work within Ontario.

What you will do

• Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, catalog items, workflows, scripts, policies, and platform components.
• Design, build, and troubleshoot REST/SOAP integrations using OAuth, webhooks, Integration Hub, MCP, and Workato.
• Support and improve ITSM and HRSD workflows, including incident, problem, change, request, and HR-related automation.
• Monitor platform health, optimize scripts and flows, manage access controls, and resolve complex platform incidents.
• Gather requirements, deliver enhancements through testing and deployment, and support upgrades and releases.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, integration documentation, and user procedures.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing and administering ServiceNow across ITSM and/or HRSD.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including GlideRecord and GlideAjax.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, and Service Catalog development.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting REST/SOAP integrations, OAuth, webhooks, and enterprise integrations.
• Strong understanding of ITSM processes and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRSD, ITOM, Workday, identity or HR platforms, ServiceNow AI/GenAI capabilities, or Now Assist.
• Experience with MCP, Service Portal, custom widgets, HTML, CSS, Workato, or other iPaaS platforms.
• ServiceNow CSA or CAD, or ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
