What you will do
- Perform scheduled maintenance and break-fix service on UPS, power distribution units, and battery systems.
- Provide onsite and phone assistance while maintaining professional customer and internal relationships.
- Diagnose equipment and site conditions, perform guided repairs, and aim for first-time fixes.
- Communicate with technical support and implement field change notices and service procedures.
- Complete service reports, timecards, expenses, inventory counts, and billing-related documentation.
- Operate a company vehicle, maintain equipment and inventory, and follow safety and escalation procedures.
Requirements
- High school or vocational school diploma.
- 0–2 years of relevant industry experience or 2–4 years of related military technical experience.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and fundamentals.
- Ability to follow technical documentation and perform elementary repairs under supervision.
- Valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and ability to work flexible schedules.
- Must pass pre-employment drug, background, and motor vehicle records checks and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice to have
- ASEET or AMEET certification, or progress toward one.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and service-management software.
