What you will do

• Analyze and evaluate examination and test results against applicable safety requirements.
• Conduct on-site inspections and audits of production, inspection, and shipping programs.
• Use technical instruments like micrometers and voltmeters to verify compliance.
• Communicate findings to manufacturers, customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction.
• Document examination results and maintain logs for scheduling, time, and expenses.
• Facilitate corrective actions when variations from requirements are identified.

Requirements

• Must be located or willing to relocate to the Erie, PA area.
• University Degree or Technical Certification in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with ability to read schematic diagrams.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally for daily client visits.

Nice to have

• Experience in Field Engineering, Compliance, or Quality Engineering.
• ASQ certification.
• Knowledge of UL Standards and 508A Industrial Control Panels.
• Lightning Protection experience.
