What you will do

• Lead electrical design from concept through production, including related component engineering and manufacturing activities.
• Perform electrical, thermal, and DVT measurements at all stages of power supply development.
• Develop models, breadboards, and prototypes for new power supply designs.
• Provide sustaining engineering support for existing power supply products.
• Collaborate with the supply chain to qualify alternate component suppliers.

Requirements

• 7+ years of engineering experience designing SMPS using topologies such as Forward, Flyback, Buck, and Boost.
• Experience designing and specifying magnetic components for SMPS designs.
• Proficiency in the design of digital and analog power supply interfaces and controls.
• In-depth knowledge of discrete semiconductors, passive components, and noise mitigation techniques.
• Experience with electrical modeling/simulation programs and familiarity with EMC and safety requirements.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CATV HFC equipment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills.
