What you will do

• Conduct safety and non-safety certification inspections and quality system audits at manufacturer sites.
• Analyze and evaluate examination and test results against UL requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of manufacturers' measuring equipment and review production and inspection records.
• Communicate with manufacturers, customers, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction to resolve non-compliance issues.
• Document findings and perform technical calculations in electrical, mechanical, chemical, or fire protection engineering.
• Use precision instruments such as micrometers and voltmeters to perform detailed inspections.

Requirements

• University Degree or Equivalent Technical Certification in Engineering, Physics, or Industrial Technology.
• Must be located or willing to relocate to the Appleton or Green Bay, Wisconsin area.
• Ability to travel locally and regionally for daily client visits.
• General electronics background and strong ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Strong computer skills and effective verbal/written communication for client-interfacing.
• Physical ability to work at heights.

Nice to have

• ASQ certification.
• Experience with UL Standards, 508A, or Industrial Control Panels.
• Lightning Protection experience.
