Salary: USD 121,900–195,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonus and equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver scalable operations and management features for private cloud environments.
• Build enterprise-grade agentic applications using foundational and small language models and multi-agent architectures.
• Develop RAG, MCP, context engineering, model routing, tool integration, safety guardrails, authorization, and agent execution environments.
• Participate in requirements, architecture, coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with distributed cross-functional VCF teams in an Agile environment.
• Guide and mentor engineers while improving engineering practices and converting prototypes into production capabilities.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or MS with 6+ years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven development, AI coding agents, and spec-driven development.
• Experience designing and deploying agentic applications with LLMs, SLMs, and multi-agent systems.
• Strong backend development skills in Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• Experience with message queues, event streaming, caching, RDBMS and NoSQL databases, preferably OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, and ClickHouse.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Angular or React.
• Knowledge of VMware technology.
