What you will do

• Lead tunneling technical activities on major underground infrastructure projects.
• Conduct constructability reviews and assess plans, specifications, geotechnical reports, and technical submittals.
• Oversee shaft excavation, microtunneling, TBM operations, and tunnel construction.
• Evaluate contractor means and methods, tunneling risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Review instrumentation, monitoring, QA/QC activities, and procurement planning.
• Participate in client meetings, technical workshops, proposals, interviews, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• 15+ years of tunneling and underground construction experience.
• Experience with tunnel construction management and contractor oversight.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work across remote, client-site, and office environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with TBMs, microtunneling, slurry machines, EPB machines, and deep shaft construction.
• Geotechnical engineering, QA/QC, and constructability review experience.
• Owner-side or construction management project experience.
• Experience supporting proposals and technical interviews.
• Background in water, wastewater, rail transit, highway, utility, or other major underground infrastructure programs.
