Geotechnical Engineer

What you will do

• Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for heavy civil projects including generation, power infrastructure, solar, wind, dams, tunnels, and buried infrastructure.
• Perform geotechnical analysis, design calculations, sketches, and prepare design reports to meet project requirements.
• Coordinate, manage, and conduct geotechnical field investigations.
• Observe and document construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls.
• Plan, design, and oversee geotechnical aspects for projects in office and field settings, with travel as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from accredited program
• Minimum 1 year related work experience
• Ability to travel for field assignments (20-40% estimated)
• Complete pre-employment onboarding including background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search
• Active Engineering-In-Training (EIT) License

Nice to have

• Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls
• Master's Degree in Civil Engineering with geotechnical emphasis
