Location: Foster City, California, United States; hybrid work with at least 3 days in the office

Salary: $149,800–$240,100 USD per year, plus potential bonus, equity, and sales incentives where applicable.

What you will do

  • Lead global sanctions compliance projects, including roadmap initiatives, program enhancements, and remediation activities.
  • Advise business units, operations, technology teams, and regional compliance teams on sanctions and export control matters.
  • Evaluate product sanctions risks and develop appropriate mitigation controls with product teams.
  • Support sanctions screening, match validity decisions, compliance testing, audits, and regulatory engagements.
  • Enhance sanctions compliance tools and technology, including user acceptance testing and coordination with the Compliance Technology Team.
  • Develop training, policies, procedures, risk assessments, KPIs, and KRIs for sanctions compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience supporting and executing sanctions compliance programs, including controls testing, monitoring, risk mitigation, and regulatory reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of global sanctions regulations, OFAC, export controls, AML, ATF, BSA, and the USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Experience representing sanctions compliance and working with auditors, regulators, and business partners.
  • Excellent research, analytical, written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and cross-functional projects.
  • Availability to work in the Foster City office at least 3 days per week is required.

  • PMP certification.
  • CAMS certification.
  • Bachelor's, master's, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD degree.
