What you will do

• Design and develop video codec architecture for SDKs and cloud gaming platforms.
• Drive algorithm innovation and performance optimization based on product and user requirements.
• Own encoder and decoder features, including ML-based video quality enhancements.
• Collaborate with platform, hardware, and system software teams to resolve high-priority codec pipeline issues.
• Evaluate emerging codec and media technologies and recommend integration strategies.

Requirements

• Expertise with video compression standards such as AV1, VVC, VP9, H.265, or H.264.
• Strong C and C++ programming skills, including multithreaded programming and debugging.
• Proficiency with development tools including IDEs, Git or SVN, and JIRA.
• Ability to deliver features from design through validation using clean, efficient code.
• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work in the United States under the applicable hybrid working policy.

Nice to have

• GPU programming experience with HLSL, Vulkan, or CUDA, including profiling and optimization.
• AI/ML modeling and training experience.
• Embedded systems and multimedia framework experience.
• SIMD optimization experience on real-time systems.
