IT Support Intern (Part-Time)

TL;DR

IT Support Intern (IT Support): Supporting IT operations and internal tools for a creative agency environment with an accent on hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Location: Must be based in or within commuting distance of Louisville, KY (in-office a majority of the time)

What you will do

• Respond to IT helpdesk tickets and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user setup and account provisioning for new hires and internal transitions.
• Maintain asset inventory, license tracking, and technical documentation.
• Monitor internal systems, backups, and platform alerts.
• Shadow experienced IT team members to learn about infrastructure, security, and hosting environments.
• Provide recommendations for improving support documentation and helpdesk workflows.

Requirements

• Interest in pursuing a career in IT, networking, cybersecurity, or systems administration.
• Comfortability navigating both Mac and PC environments.
• Availability for approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate school schedules.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills for collaborating with creative and non-technical teammates.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and ticketing systems.
