Senior Manager, Procurement

What you will do

• Own and evolve procurement strategy, policies, governance frameworks, and purchasing standards.
• Lead strategic sourcing, RFPs, vendor selection, and complex negotiations for technology and professional services.
• Manage the full vendor and contract lifecycle in partnership with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and business stakeholders.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement team while setting priorities and improving execution.
• Analyze company-wide spend to identify savings, vendor consolidation, budget, and KPI opportunities.
• Improve purchase-to-pay workflows and systems, automate manual work, and build a scalable purchasing experience.

Requirements

• 8+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management experience in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience leading and developing teams and negotiating SaaS, software, cloud infrastructure, and professional services agreements.
• Track record of building procurement processes, managing contracts end-to-end, and driving cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience implementing, optimizing, or administering procurement and P2P systems, with Zip strongly preferred and familiarity with NetSuite.
• Strong knowledge of procurement governance, contract fundamentals, vendor risk management, spend analytics, and cross-functional purchasing.
• Must be located in Canada; strong communication, influencing, analytical, and executive presentation skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI.
• CPSM, CSCP, or a similar procurement certification.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies applied to procurement operations.
