Senior Manager, Global Supply Management (Automotive)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States. Hybrid work is required, with at least 3 days per week in the office and up to 5 days based on operational needs.

Base salary: $179,000–$235,000 per year, plus annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead strategic sourcing across hardware components, sensors, compute platforms, advanced materials, and contract manufacturing.
• Partner with Engineering on technology and part exploration, supplier roadmaps, evaluation samples, and qualified supplier onboarding.
• Own supplier selection, negotiations, commercial strategy, make-versus-buy analysis, should-cost modeling, and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Manage supplier relationships, quarterly business reviews, approved vendor list governance, supplier performance, and escalation processes.
• Oversee supply agreements, long-term agreements, NRE arrangements, trial agreements, and manufacturing contracts.
• Build supply resilience through risk assessments, dual-sourcing roadmaps, capacity planning, and business continuity strategies while leading and developing a team of Global Supply Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or global supply management focused on direct categories such as hardware, components, sensors, electronics, or advanced manufacturing.
• 8+ years of people management experience building and developing high-performing sourcing teams.
• Strong analytical and financial skills, including should-cost modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, and engagement with FP&A and senior leadership.
• Experience negotiating complex supply agreements, LTAs, and NRE contracts with hardware and contract manufacturing suppliers.
• Experience with supply chain risk management, dual sourcing, capacity planning, supplier financial health assessment, stakeholder influence, and executive-ready communication.
