Salary: $137,170 - $253,806 Annual

What you will do

• Support negotiation of collective bargaining agreements, develop negotiation strategies, and prepare proposals.
• Manage litigation, arbitration, and legal proceedings related to grievances and unfair labor practice charges under the NLRA.
• Advise internal business partners on labor strategy and evolving labor laws, highlighting risks and recommending solution-oriented strategies.
• Partner with HR, Labor Relations, and Microsoft’s Workforce, Employment and Benefits Solutions (WEBS) legal team.
• Provide legal advice on labor relations training and communication to foster an inclusive work environment.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or international equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience as a practicing attorney specializing in labor law (collective bargaining, organizing activity, labor arbitration).
• Active license to practice law in a jurisdiction.
• Ability and willingness to travel to the Irvine campus frequently.
