What you will do

• Support strategic enforcement activities, including investigations, raids, and litigations in China and other global regions.
• Manage Americas enforcement efforts, including Customs programs, in-country strategies, and Schedule A litigation.
• Handle US IP casework related to merchandise in collaboration with Brands and Litigation teams.
• Draft and approve DMCA takedowns and platform-specific IP complaints for platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Meta.
• Partner with global IP colleagues and business units across the Americas, UK, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
• Prepare quarterly enforcement reports using data analytics to highlight trends and program risks.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in contentious soft IP matters (trademark, design, copyright), including 3+ years at a law firm.
• J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school and membership in good standing with a US state bar.
• Current membership and good standing with the California state bar.
• Extensive knowledge of copyright law, specifically regarding AI issues, game cloning, and technical protection measures.
• Experience managing external vendors, including budget setting and performance reviews.
• Strong project management, communication, and negotiation skills.

• Spanish language proficiency.
• Familiarity with IP enforcement specifically within China.
