Salary: $200,000 - $280,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Act as the primary legal advisor and "mini general counsel" for a new business initiative.
• Identify and resolve legal issues across commercial transactions, privacy, consumer protection, and advertising.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate legal requirements into effective product design.
• Draft and negotiate complex technology, licensing, and strategic partnership agreements.
• Collaborate with intellectual property attorneys to deliver coordinated legal support.
• Advise leadership on legal risk, governance, and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of New York state bar.
• Minimum 9 years of relevant legal experience in technology, interactive entertainment, or consumer-facing products.
• Proven experience negotiating complex commercial and technology transactions.
• Strong understanding of digital product legal issues, including AI, privacy, and user-generated content.
• Ability to operate effectively in a large organization and influence senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience in evolving technology areas such as artificial intelligence.
• Direct experience in the video game or interactive entertainment industry.
• Prior in-house legal experience.
