Staff Accountant (Marketing)

What you will do

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed assets reporting.
• Process vendor invoices, match POs, and oversee employee reimbursement workflows.
• Prepare financial schedules and management reports, providing data and insights for audits.
• Maintain Sales and Use tax registrations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Requirements

• 1+ years of tax and/or accounting related experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices.
• Experience with project-based accounting, WIP, and client billing.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Workamajig, Deltek, or Intacct.
• Authorized to work in the US (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA track or certification.
• Familiarity with time-tracking and project management systems.
