What you will do

  • Investigate workplace and construction site incidents involving employee injury, fatality, or near-miss events.
  • Analyze compliance with OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, NFPA codes, and local safety requirements.
  • Evaluate construction means and methods, job hazard analyses, safety programs, and training practices.
  • Assess the use, condition, and guarding of machinery, tools, scaffolding, and PPE.
  • Apply ergonomic principles to identify workplace risk factors and recommend injury-prevention strategies.
  • Prepare clear, well-supported technical reports for clients, insurers, and legal counsel.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Systems, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
  • Experience with accident reconstruction, workplace injury investigation, and safety compliance evaluations.
  • Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Penns Park, PA.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Safety certifications such as CSP, CHST, or similar.
  • Ability to access active construction sites and industrial facilities.
