What you will do

• Embed statutory liquidity reporting into business-as-usual processes, including data provision, transformation, monitoring, and governance.
• Develop key controls and governance procedures for monthly senior management approval of regulatory liquidity reporting.
• Oversee the initial reporting team, support skills development, and transition the process to the relevant business-as-usual teams.
• Analyse regulated insurance entity results under UK GAAP and IFRS and prepare commentary for statutory, group, board, and audit committee reporting.
• Maintain effective internal controls, coordinate external audits, and support quarterly risk and control attestations.
• Deliver finance change projects, process improvements, and collaboration across M&G Finance.

Requirements

• Accounting qualification such as CA, ACA, or ACCA.
• Experience analysing and interpreting financial results for life insurers under UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting, data management, controls, and governance.
• Ability to solve complex problems, communicate with senior stakeholders, and balance competing reporting requirements.
• Experience managing teams, audits, control frameworks, and continuous process improvements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Oracle, Power BI, and Tagetik.
• Interest in automation and finance process enhancement.
