Payroll Manager

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 per year.

What you will do

• Manage accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, tax, reporting, and payroll regulations.
• Oversee payroll systems, upgrades, and integrations with HRIS, accounting, and benefits platforms.
• Maintain confidential payroll records and ensure data integrity.
• Lead year-end activities, including W-2, 1099, and other required filings.
• Partner with HR and Finance on compensation, benefits, policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations supporting employees in 30+ states.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• U.S. work authorization required; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
