Payroll Manager (Finance)

Salary: $136,000 - $170,000 USD

What you will do

• Oversee accurate and timely payroll operations, including gross pay calculations, deductions, and retirement contributions.
• Maintain and audit HR/payroll systems and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with IT and vendors.
• Manage month-end payroll accounting, including journal entries and financial statements using NetSuite.
• Provide technical training and support to staff and respond to inquiries from employees and external agencies.
• Monitor and analyze legislative changes affecting payroll, tax codes, and health benefits to maintain compliance.
• Lead and mentor payroll staff through workshops and technical training to ensure process consistency.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of processing experience with ADP Workforce (hourly and salary employees)
• 3-5 years of experience with International payroll and working knowledge of PEO/EOR systems
• 3-5 years of Accounting Month End experience, including Journal Entry preparation and utilization of NetSuite
• Associate’s degree with coursework in accounting, business, or a related field.
• In-depth understanding of domestic and international laws, 401(k), IRC 125, HSA, and tax withholding.
