Product Support Specialist (Configuration Management)

What you will do

• Follow configuration management plans, implementation strategies, and baseline control processes.
• Define release readiness criteria and maintain accurate configuration baselines and documentation.
• Coordinate configuration change implementation across engineering, logistics, supply, and program management.
• Maintain configuration status accounting and ensure approved changes are reflected in technical and logistics data.
• Organize schedules, prioritize work orders, and manage workflow across organizational units and stakeholders.
• Support the implementation and operation of enterprise PLM systems for U.S. Department of Defense customers.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. government security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, are required.
• At least 2 years of experience in Configuration Management.
• Experience supporting large enterprise system implementation or integration projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence or SharePoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windchill, Teamcenter, Arena, Oracle PLM, Enovia, or another PLM application.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with Product Support elements and Configuration Status Accounting.
• Knowledge of U.S. Department of Defense software development policies, requirements, and artifacts.
• Understanding of data migration, system integration, and provisioning processes.
