TL;DR
Healthcare Application Specialist (OncoEMR): Implementing and configuring an oncology electronic medical record system for community clinics with an accent on clinical workflows, practice customization, and user training. Focus on validating complex operational processes, coordinating interfaces and go-live delivery, and supporting clinics through the transition to Customer Success.
Location: Remote within the United States; working hours must align with the team. The preferred primary location is the New York office, and travel of up to 80% or more may be required.
Salary: $83,200–$114,400 annually, based on the preferred New York primary location. Annual bonus and equity may also be provided.

What you will do
- Support OncoEMR implementation across oncology clinic settings from discovery and workflow validation through configuration, training, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Analyze clinical, operational, and billing workflows and customize the application to meet practice needs.
- Partner with clinic leaders and staff to drive workflow changes, assess training needs, and deliver structured e-learning, video conference, and in-person training.
- Coordinate with Interface and Project Management teams to support interfaces and overall implementation delivery.
- Perform quality control for practice setup and customization, oversee go-live activities, and provide support until handoff.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and manage multiple implementation and training schedules.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience implementing and training users on software systems in the healthcare industry.
- Strong customer service experience, preferably with electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Experience developing and delivering structured training curricula, with the ability to present both virtually and in person.
- Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving experience, plus the ability to learn and explain new software quickly.
- Must be able to work remotely from the United States, align working hours with the team, and travel up to 80% or more.
Nice to have
- Oncology billing or Revenue Cycle Management experience.
- Clinical or oncology experience.
- Practice Management software experience as a user, trainer, or tester.
- Strong Excel and video conferencing software skills.
