TL;DR
Medical Science Liaison (GI Oncology) (Molecular Diagnostics): Supporting Signatera and Natera’s GI oncology portfolio by engaging healthcare providers, communicating peer-reviewed clinical data, and informing disease management with an accent on personalized tumor-informed MRD testing and scientific education. Focus on building KOL relationships, translating complex genetic testing evidence, gathering field insights, and coordinating clinical research across a defined US territory.

Location: US Remote; must reside within the assigned territory. This is a field-based role requiring 60–70% travel across the territory, including clinical engagements and conferences.

Salary: $145,000–$175,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Build and maintain scientific relationships with GI oncology healthcare providers and key opinion leaders within an assigned territory.
  • Deliver balanced, clinically relevant education on GI oncology molecular diagnostics, Sighirify.global, and related clinical data.
  • Develop territory strategy, adapt to changing Medical Affairs priorities, and communicate treatment trends, unmet needs, and competitive insights.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries with timely, compliant, and scientifically rigorous information.
  • Support advisory boards, medical education programs, clinical trials, and research initiatives at academic institutions and regional study sites.
  • Track territory engagement, document actionable clinical insights, and collaborate with commercial and clinical teams while maintaining scientific integrity.

Requirements

  • Must reside within the assigned US territory.
  • Master’s degree in a healthcare or scientific field required; Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or D.N.P. preferred.
  • Medical Affairs or MSL experience in GI oncology or molecular diagnostics preferred.
  • Technical expertise and research ability to explain complex genetic testing data and clinical products to GI oncology specialists.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, build collaborative relationships, navigate ambiguity, and communicate clinical evidence clearly.
  • Ability to travel extensively and support occasional evening or weekend clinical meetings.
